Description

The winter school of 2017 will focus on the economics of attention, salience and stereotypes. Our speaker Nicola Gennaioli is a leading behavioral economist with a very broad range of research interests. In collaboration with Andrei Shleifer and Pedro Bordalo he has developed a novel theoretical model that takes into account the role of salience in human decision making. This model has broad application in various subfields of economics and finance. In some of his most recent work he presents an alternative view on the emergence and economic relevance of stereotypes.

Location

Champéry (Valais)
