Description |
This workshop focusses on the physics of magmatic and volcanic processes from the magma reservoir to the stratosphere. Our speakers will discuss (1) processes in the magmatic reservoir, (2) processes in the volcanic conduit, (3) physical properties of magma and volcanic glass and (4) magma fragmentation, transport of ash and aerosols in the atmosphere as well as volcanic-lightening. DAY 1 – 14 November 2016 (Salle 001, Sciences de la Terre, Université de Genève)
