Training in ade4: Basic Methods

You will learn how to use various functions to run multivariate analyses in the ade4 R package: user interface ade4TkGUI, data import/export, multivariate analyses, diverse graphical solutions depending on the analyses performed, results interpretation. The course aims at leading the students to acquire some autonomy in the use of ade4. The basic course aims at teaching students the use of 1-table analyses (e.g. PCA, CA, MCA). The course runs with lectures, practicals and general discussions. Example data are provided in the package itself, and used to illustrate analyses in the lectures and practicals, but own data can also be used.
