Description | This workshop aims to learn how to give a convincing chalk talk about your research After a general short introduction, the students will each present their work in a 3-5 min chalk talk. After a general feedback round, there will be longer chalk talks by the invited speakers followed by a round-table discussion.

Information | Assignment: Each participant is expected to prepare a 3 min speech on his/her research (as if you would need to summarize it for an employer in spe/ a member of a grant agency you just met). You are not allowed to use any slides, but will have … a chalk! |
