Description |
AI/ML/Data science are about to change significantly the future workplace, leading to new challenges and threats.
This CUSO doctoral school aims at discussing the impact of AI/ML on the future of work from two perspectives:
- Designing of AI/ML-based solutions for the future workplace: digital assistants, new forms of collaboration between humans and machines, etc.
- Understanding the acceptance and adoption of AI/ML in the future workplace: individual and organizational routines, acceptance and adoption of AI/ML in the workplace
Target group will be PhD students and post doctoral researchers from different disciplinary backgrounds, including information systems, human-computer interaction, computer science, etc.

Program |
This seminar is organized as follows:
- November 23 and 24 (full day):
- Keynotes on research topics and different disciplinary perspectives on the field
- Workshops focusing on IS theories and research methods for studying AI/ML and the Future of Work
- December tbd (2-3h):
- Final discussion and poster presentations by participating PhD students (relevant for validation as part of the individual program for PhD students at HEC Lausanne)
