Description

The symposium is targeted to participants of all four CUSO programs in biology, namely Staromics, Plant Molecular Biology, Microbiology and Ecology and Evolution and is co-oganized with the Swiss Institute for Bioinformatics.

 

Invited speakers will present their work around the subject "Microbiome". The symposium will include both lectures by invited experts in the fields and discussions in smaller groups (journal club format) in order to promote dynamic exchanges between students and experts of different disciplines and close contacts with the invited speakers.

 

 

This year the Symposium will last 5.5 days. Registrations to the first and second part have to be done separately.

 

- Registration to the first part: Villars Symposium I "Microbiome" on the CUSO Microbiology page (From sept. 10th to 13th, morning.)

- Please follow this link if you'd like to suscribe to the second part: Villars Symposium II: "Bioinformatics" (SIB) (From sept 13th, afternoon, to 15th.). Places for the second part are limited to 25.

Expenses

Reimbursements for CUSO MPS Students

Accomodation and meal expenses are covered by the CUSO. You will be reimbursed for your train ticket, 2°class, half-fare from your institution to the place of the activity.


Reimbursement form attached with original tickets has to be sent to the MPS coordinator Zoia Debora at University of Lausanne, Department of Molecular Plant Biology, Biophore - quartier UNIL-Sorge, 1015 Lausanne.
