1-day visit to the seed Company VILMORIN - France

The visit will provide the students with an insight into the Bioindustry world and the required skills to work in this field.
Participants will be able to visit the laboratories at Vilmorin and to interact with collaborators of the company during the day.

The visit represents a good opportunity for students to orient their professional career to a non-academic field after their thesis.

The closest location where we suggest participants to book their accomodation for the night before the visit is the city of Nîmes. From there, common transports (rental car/minivans) will be organized to reach the VILMORIN research center.

IMPORTANT: THE PARTICIPANT MUST ARRIVE IN NÎMES THE EVENING BEFORE THE VISIT (Thursday June 9th).

CUSO MPS Participants will be reimbursed for:

Accomodation:
- 1 night for a MAXIMUM of 90 CHF for the Night+Breakfast+taxes
- NO reimbursement for your meal expenses

Transports:
- Train Geneva-Nîmes and return for a MAXIMUM of 160 CHF
- Train CH from your institution to Geneva and return, price of FFS ticket, 2nd class, half-fare

YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR THE BOOKING AND PAYMENT OF YOUR TRAVEL TICKETS AND ACCOMODATION. NO REIMBURSEMENT IN CASE OF CANCELLATION. NO REIMBURSEMENT WITHOUT ORIGINAL BILLS. Only people attending the visit will be reimbursed.

Reimbursement form attached with original tickets has to be sent to the MPS coordinator Zoia Debora at University of Lausanne, Department of Molecular Plant Biology, Biophore - quartier UNIL-Sorge, 1015 Lausanne.

For cancellations after the 20th of May the costs per person for the common transports (rental car/minivans - 25 CHF) will be asked (bill) to the participant. Thank you for the understandnis.
