PhD Day: Funding Applications and Work-Life Balance

This year's PhD day will take place in Neuchâtel. It will focus on two different topics and students and postdocs are welcome to attend either the full event or a specific session. The morning is dedicated to funding applications, with information on funding available in Switzerland and beyond and tips on how to write successful funding bids. As usual, we will then head for a leisurely lunch, where we can informally continue our discussions.

In the afternoon, a guest speaker will talk to us about the importance of maintaining a healthy work-life balance, with advice on how to be mindful of our mental health throughout the PhD and beyond. We will wrap up the day with a walk along the lake, followed by an apéro to begin our weekend celebrations in style.
