Description

This activity targets BEAST-experienced people and/or the students who followed the first course in February 2015. Lectures will be given in the morning, with workshops in the afternoon and no upper time limit. Analyses will be conducted with BEAST. In the five days four main topics will be covered

-traditional discrete analyses (1 day)

-demography (1 day)

-relaxed random walk for populations (1 day)

-relaxed random walk for species (1 day)

The fifth day will be used to combine different methods for specialised analyses and personal needs. This time the students are welcome to bring in their own datasets and problems to anchor the topics in their own research.
